Super Series Championships
P.O. Box 83
Lexington, OK  73051

These events are open only to qualified
14U Minors teams only.

This event requires that all teams have qualified
in Super Series 14U Minors Division.

All teams, ages 7U through 18U,
will utilize the
May 1st
age cutoff.

To determine your team's tournament age, determine the age of your oldest player on
April 30th 2008,
and that is the age that your
team is eligible to play.

All teams will be assured of a 5-game minimum.  Teams will have three pool play games for seeding into a double-elimination bracket. Most teams will play more that five games.

We accept a maximum of 64 teams.

Pools will be seeded based on national qualifying points earned at our qualifying events.  The Super Series national office will make all pool assignments.

Following pool play, bracket seed will be based on: (1st) won-loss record in pool play; (2nd) runs allowed; (3rd) runs scored.

Pool play results in summer national championships will have significant importance.  The number of teams advancing to the championship bracket after pool play shall be:

       Total Teams                           Teams Advancing to
   Entered in Event                   Championship Bracket

1 to 16                                  All
17 to 32                                16
33 to 48                                24
49 to 64                                32

(This places increased importance on pool play games.  For example, if there were 32 total teams in a championship, the top 16 finishers in pool go to the championship, and 16 teams would advance to consolation.  For a full event of 64 total teams, a maximum of 32 teams advance to the championship bracket, and the reminder advance to consolation.  Pool play is now very important)

All national qualifying points earned during the regular Spring-Summer season will be used in making pool assignments.  The teams with the most points will receive the highest seeds in pool play.

All players must meet age and residency requirements.

Any American or Minors division team having a player from outside their home state, must request a border exemption from the national Super Series office.  If a team has any approved out of state players, you must have a valid Border Exemption certificate (issued by the national office) attached to your team registration.  For our border exemption policy, see our online rules - click here.

Teams may choose one boy, or one girl, to serve as bat boy, or bat girl for the team.  Per Super Series rules and insurance requirements, the bat boy or bat girl must wear a double-flap helmet at all times.  Additionally, the bat boy or bat girl must be added to the team's official roster, (just as a player is added consuming a roster spot) in order to be covered by the team's insurance.

All players must wear their game uniforms to team check-in.  Team photos are taken as part of check-in.

Additionally, some events publish formal program books.  When this occurs, the tournament event manager will need a team photo well in advance of the tournament in order to include your team within the book.  (Please check with your event director to see if a program book is being produced for your event.)
