Super Series Championships
The Ballfields at Craig Ranch
6151 Alma Road
McKinney, Texas 75070

These events are open only to
11U American Division teams only.

All teams, ages 8U through 18U,
will utilize the
May 1st
age cutoff.

To determine your team's tournament age, determine the age of your oldest player on
April 30th 2008
,
and that is the age that your
team is eligible to play.

All teams will be assured of a 5-game minimum.  Teams will have three pool play games for seeding into a double-elimination bracket. Most teams will play more that five games.

We accept a maximum of 64 teams.

Pools will be seeded based on national qualifying points earned at our qualifying events.  The Super Series national office will make all pool assignments.

Following pool play, bracket seed will be based on: (1st) won-loss record in pool play; (2nd) runs allowed; (3rd) runs scored.

Pool play results in summer national championships will have significant importance.  The number of teams advancing to the championship bracket after pool play shall be:

       Total Teams                           Teams Advancing to
   Entered in Event                   Championship Bracket

1 to 16                                  All
17 to 32                                16
33 to 48                                24
49 to 64                                32

(This places increased importance on pool play games.  For example, if there were 32 total teams in a championship, the top 16 finishers in pool go to the championship, and 16 teams would advance to consolation.  For a full event of 64 total teams, a maximum of 32 teams advance to the championship bracket, and the reminder advance to consolation.  Pool play is now very important)

All national qualifying points earned during the regular Spring-Summer season will be used in making pool assignments.  The teams with the most points will receive the highest seeds in pool play.
